Reinventing Organizations

Something is broken in today’s organizations, Frederic Laloux writes in his seminal bestseller Reinventing Organizations. The conclusion is based on surveys like the 2013 Gallup poll that found that only 13 percent of employees worldwide are engaged at work. Laloux, however, shows that it is possible to build radically more powerful, soulful and purposeful organizations.

Innoday ’18 speaker Professor Gary Hamel also wants to bust todays corporate bureaucracy and reinvent management: “Bureaucracy has little room for the curiosity, intuition, playfulness and daring that animates human creativity. As a result, our organizations are less adaptable, creative and inspiring than we are.”

Hamel also thinks that there are reasons to be hopeful: “Many CEOs understand, at last, that to build an organization that’s fit for the future, you must first make it fit for human beings.”

Investing in an engaged and inspired workforce doesn't just sound like a good idea, it most certainly is. Another study by Gallup showed that workplaces with high employee engagement outperform the rest.

At Innoday ’20 you will get valuable new insights and ideas from both experts and practitioners on how to reinvent your own organization, both from a management and customer perspective.

Trend guru David Mattin will present the powerful trends that will reshape the expectations of consumers in 2020. He will also highlight the implications for brands and organizations that we all need to take action on in order to stay relevant.

Learn from Peter Hinssen, one of the world’s leading experts on radical innovation and all things digital, about the exponentially changing world and its consequences for organizations of today.

Peter will also show how to reinvent your organization for your Day After Tomorrow.

The multitalented artist, writer and philosopher Steve Chapman will give a unique perspective on how you can reimagine your creativity.

Corporate rebel Pim de Morree quit his frustrating corporate job and set out to travel the world to visit the world’s most inspiring organizations. Pim will share his unique insights from progressive workplaces and ultimately how to build a workplace that people love.

Get practical hands-on insights from renowned executives including Lisa Lindström and Tuva Palm in a panel discussion about reinventing organizations moderated by BBC’s excellent news anchor Sally Bundock.

You will also learn from Ariella Rotstein Gille, Co-lead ICAx, how ICA Gruppen are reinventing their organization with innovation as well as the important role leadership and culture plays.

Finally, René Carayol, one of the world's leading executive coaches, will show how you can find your true inherent strengths and build inclusive high-performing teams.

Be sure to attend our VIP session where you will be inspired and learn from the fast-moving radical US and Chinese innovators. You will also learn how to reinvent your workplace and get top tips on how to transform your corporate culture.
